Topsham in Lockdown – Photo Exhibition

Estuary league of Friends (ELOF)  in partnership with The Goat Walk Land Trust ( GWLT ) and Love Topsham put out a call for local people to send in photos of Topsham in Lockdown. There was a category for nature and wild life sponsored by the GWLT and a category for children under 11 . 160 great photos were received.  A panel including Ian Bateman Chairman of Exmouth Photo Group and President of the Western Counties Photographic Federation,  and Ross Dunbar of Optima Graphics selected 54 of the best for printing . These will be displayed in Topsham from Monday 24 Aug until Monday 7 Sept. Local shops and businesses were contacted via Love Topsham and over 20 of them will be displaying the photos in their windows. The rest will be outdoors.

You will be able to follow a trail from Nancy Potter House down to the GWL and back . You can see the list of the photos on the GWLT, ELOF and Love Topsham websites or you can pick up a printed list from Nancy Potter House or Topsham bookshop . See if you can find them all !

From bread making to butterflies to empty roads, the quality and variety of the photos really impressed the panel and forms a unique record of Topsham in lockdown . All the photos will be available digitally and will be on the websites, and will also be available for exhibition in printed or digital form .
